Golf FxF
Harness the power of the 240 fps mode on your iPhone camera to capture and analyze your golf swing frame by frame. Golf FxF allows you to capture new video on your phone, share the video with other iPhone users. Once you shoot the video, Golf FxF provides all the viewing tools to dissect your swing with precision video controls. The app also organizes and stores all of your golf videos. To help manage storage, you can trim the videos down to the key part of the swing and then store the shorter video with a smaller file size.
Retrieve - import videos from your camera roll that were shot with Golf FxF on other devices
Record - capture new videos on your device at 240 frames per second
View - presents a sorted table with all the videos on your phone
- tap the video to view
- slide left to delete the video
- slide right to make a local copy of the trimmed video
- slide right to use AirDrop to share the video to a different Apple device
Once you've selected a video for viewing, you can swipe or tap on the view to see the video in action. Also, by swiping up from the bottom of the view, you can access video play controls that let you precisely control video playback.
Putting this all together, Golf FxF gives you the everything you need to better understand your golf swing, make improvements and see progress over time. On a personal note, I've used the app during development to help minimize my over-the-top tendencies and have lowered my index by 7 shots!
PiQso
Connect with up to four other nearby PiQso users to create drawings together or simply sketch what’s on your mind. But be quick because the images don’t last long. Whether sharing with friends or family members, PiQso combines your creativity with theirs to produce the same picture on everyone’s screen. Customize your screen name and line appearance to fit your personality and start drawing. Create your own games, share thoughts or just be crazy. If you create a cool picture together, take a snapshot and save it to your photos. PiQso uses the Bluetooth feature on your phone, so it works everywhere.
Once app is launched, you can draw by touch in the black center drawing region. All images fade in about 20 seconds. The app launches with bluetooth turned off. The menu at the bottom (or left side if rotated) is used to customize the drawing appearance and to turn bluetooth on.
Change the user profile by pressing the face icon
Pause - freezes the drawing and presents a screen capture option
Erase - clears your drawing from the screen
Connect - allows you to turn bluetooth connectivity on/off
If two or more devices (up to 5) have the app open, are in bluetooth range and have set connections to On, the devices will connect and the connected devices will be shown. Everything you draw will also be shown on the screens of all connected devices.
If devices do not connect properly, you may need to turn off and restart your phone to reset the bluetooth radio.
